Training, technical assistance, and continuing education

Acumentra Health uses a proactive approach to education and training, anticipating the needs of the stakeholders and developing goal-specific approaches to meet these needs. We customize our training and communications, identifying and selecting successful strategies and activities for each project.

Acumentra Health has taught clients how to use

  • Achievable Benchmarks of Care (ABCTM) methods to profile and compare individual clinics’ performance
  • patient-centered composite measures for diabetes, heart failure, and inpatient treatment to assess quality of care (e.g., proportion of patients receiving all appropriate services)
  • “planned” visits to improve value of face-to-face encounters (e.g., planned diabetes visit)

Acumentra Health offers multiple training and technical assistance delivery options to optimize clients’ resources. We deliver “live" individual and group learning events as well as teleconferences and webinars with the option of recording for playback "on demand."

Continuing education services

As an accredited continuing education provider, Acumentra Health can also help you plan and deliver your own credit-designated educational events. Acumentra Health is accredited by the Oregon Medical Association to provide American Medical Association Physician's Recognition Award (AMA PRA) Category 1 Credit™ for continuing medical education (CME) and by the California Board of Nursing to provide nursing contact hours for continuing education.
