PEPPER—Program for Evaluating Payment Patterns Electronic Reports

Updated training materials
- The March 2006 training session on "Utilization: One-day stays excluding transfers" included a flowchart on evaluation of patients with chest pain, as well as slides containing chest pain case examples. Acumentra Health has learned that the flowchart did not correspond with the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association (ACC/AHA) 2002 Guideline "Update for the Management of Patients with Unstable Angina and Non-ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction." Corrected PowerPoint slides are available at www.hpmpresources.org/pepper.
